Sending & signing

Sign in person on a phone or tablet

Complete a whole waiver on your own device with the client next to you, then add your signature.

When a client walks in without having filled anything in, you can run the entire waiver on your own phone or tablet. Wavrr guides both signatures in one flow.

This page covers the web dashboard. The mobile app asks you to pick a signing mode up front instead, which is fewer taps in the studio — see Start a waiver on your phone.

Run the flow

  1. Open Waivers and tap New Waiver.
  2. Customer Details — enter the client's name, email, phone and date of birth. Hand them the device for this if you prefer.
  3. Waiver — let them read the consent text and answer the health questions.
  4. Signature — hand the device over. They sign in the box, and Wavrr moves on to your turn.
  5. Complete any studio fields, add your own signature, and tap Sign & Complete.

The step indicator at the top shows whose turn it is — Customer, then Artist — so there is no confusion when you pass the device back and forth.

Use a tablet if you have one

An iPad is noticeably better than a phone for this. Signatures drawn with a finger on a larger screen look more like a real signature, and clients read the consent text properly instead of scrolling past it.

When the client has already signed remotely

If they used a share link earlier, the waiver is already at Pending Signature. Open it from Waivers and Wavrr tells you the client has signed and asks only for your part. You are not re-collecting anything.

Guardian signatures

If the date of birth is below your guardian threshold, the flow adds the guardian's name and a second signature box before it will let you continue. If a guardian already signed remotely, Wavrr says so and does not ask again. See Minors and guardian consent.

Whose name goes on it

On the Artist plan the waiver is attributed to you, and there is an optional Artist Name field if you work under a different name.

On the Studio plan you pick the artist from your roster instead, and you can add someone new without leaving the flow. See Choose who signed a waiver.
