What the client sees when they sign

Your client never installs anything and never makes an account. They open a link, fill in a form, sign with their finger, and close the tab.

The form, top to bottom

The page opens as Complete Your Waiver, with three sections:

Client details — first name, last name, email, phone, date of birth, and address if your template asks for it.

Health & tattoo information — the placement and description fields if you enabled them, your medical conditions box, and any custom questions you added.

Consent — your consent text, the checkbox "I have read the information above and agree to proceed", and any extra consent checkboxes you added, each needing its own tick.

Then the signature box: "Please sign in the box below." They draw with a finger and tap Sign Waiver.

Validation stops the common mistakes

The form will not submit with a required question unanswered or a consent box unticked, and it says which one. A date of birth below your guardian threshold adds the guardian name and signature fields on the spot. A date of birth below your minimum age blocks signing entirely.

What happens the moment they sign

They see Waiver Signed Successfully with a short explanation: their artist will complete their part, and they will get a copy by email once it is fully done.

That wording matters — the client's copy does not arrive until you have signed too. If a client messages you asking where their PDF is, the answer is almost always that the waiver is still sitting at Pending Signature waiting for you.

Back-to-back signings

After a successful signature the page offers Sign Another Waiver Now and resets itself automatically after a countdown. That is what makes a shared studio tablet or a front-desk QR code work for a queue of people without you touching it between clients.

If they hit an error

"Waiver Not Found" or "The waiver link is invalid or has expired" means the link or its template no longer exists. Send a fresh link — see Share a waiver by link.
