Print and place a QR code

A QR code turns your front desk into a self-service consent station. A walk-in scans it with their phone camera and fills in the form while you finish setting up.

Get the code

1. 1Open QR Code in the sidebar.
2. 2Pick the waiver template the code should open.
3. 3Tap Download Image to save the PNG, or Copy Image to paste it straight into a design.

The same page shows the QR code link, which opens exactly the same form. Scanning the code and tapping the link are equivalent.

Where to put it

• At the front desk, in a small standing frame, is the highest-traffic spot.
• At each station, if different chairs do different work and you have a template per discipline.
• On your window or door, so people waiting outside can start.
• On your price list or aftercare card, where it gets taken home.

Print it at least 4 cm across. Smaller than that and older phone cameras struggle in low studio light.

Label it

A bare QR code gets ignored. Put a line of text next to it saying what it does and how long it takes: "Scan to complete your consent form — takes 2 minutes."

If you print more than one code, label which is which. A client who scans the tattoo code before a piercing has filled in the wrong form, and you will not notice until you open it.

One code per template

Each code is tied to the template it was created for, permanently. Changing your default template does not change what an existing printed code opens — see Set a default template.

Create extra codes

Under Waiver Links you can add more codes and links with New link, choosing a template each time. This is how you get one code per station or one per discipline.
