Waiver templates
Set a default template
Choose which template new waivers use automatically, so you are not picking one every time.
Your default template is the one Wavrr reaches for when you start a new waiver. If you mostly do one kind of work, setting it means you never think about templates again.
Set it
- Open Waiver Templates.
- Find the template you want.
- Tap Set as Default.
The template now shows a Default badge, and Wavrr confirms the change. There is exactly one default at a time — setting a new one replaces the old.
What the default affects
The default is used when you create a new waiver from the dashboard without choosing a template. It does not change:
- Existing waivers, which keep the template they were created with
- Your share links and QR codes, which are each tied to a specific template
That last point catches people out. If you switch your default from tattoo to piercing, the QR code taped to your front desk still opens the tattoo form, because it was created for that template. Create a new link if you want the code to follow the change — see Print and place a QR code.
Which one to pick
Pick the template you use most often, not the most complete one. The point is to reduce the number of decisions you make on a busy day.
