Start a waiver on your phone

Tapping New waiver in the app asks you one question first: how is this client going to sign? Pick the mode that matches the situation and the app sets the rest up for you.

Pick a template, then a mode

The app uses your default template unless you choose another, so most of the time this is two taps. If you have no templates yet it points you at Templates first — see Create your first waiver template.

Then choose one of three modes:

Tap Start waiver and you are in.

Sign on this device

The client fills in their details, reads the consent text, answers your health questions and signs. The step indicator shows whose turn it is — Customer, then Artist — so passing the device back and forth is never confusing. You add your signature and the waiver is done.

Show QR code

The app puts a full-screen QR code on your display with Show to client. They point their camera at it and the form opens in their own browser — no app, no account. Good when your hands are busy or you would rather not hand your phone over.

Share signing link

Opens your phone's normal share sheet, so the link goes out through Instagram, WhatsApp, email or anything else you have installed.

This is the one to use the day before an appointment. The client fills everything in at home and you arrive to a waiver already sitting at Pending Signature, waiting only for your signature.

Guardian signatures

If the client's date of birth falls below your guardian age threshold, the flow adds the guardian's name and a second signature box before it will let you continue. That applies in all three modes. See Minors and guardian consent.

Which artist it belongs to

On the Studio plan the signature step asks which artist the waiver is for, picked from your roster, and you can add someone new without leaving the flow — useful for a guest artist who has just walked in. See Choose who signed a waiver.
