Mobile app
What you can do in the app
Which parts of Wavrr work in the mobile app, which still need the web dashboard, and why.
The app covers everything you do during a session. A few admin jobs still open the dashboard in your browser, and it will take you there when they do.
The five tabs
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Home | Your overview and quick actions |
| Waivers | Every consent form, searchable, with its status |
| Templates | Your waiver templates |
| Customers | Client records and their consent history |
| Account | Profile, studio settings, subscription, help |
What works fully in the app
- Starting and completing waivers, including all three signing modes — see Start a waiver on your phone
- Signing — both the client's signature and yours, plus guardian signatures where your age settings require them
- Photo ID — straight from the camera or your photo library, see Upload photo ID from your phone
- Waiver templates — create, edit, set a default, and remove them
- Customers — search and open a client's full consent history
- QR codes and share links for your templates
- Ink registration and ink passports — add saved inks and issue a passport after a session
- Choosing which artist a waiver belongs to, picked from your studio roster on the Studio plan
- Studio settings and your profile
- Subscriptions, bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play
What opens the dashboard instead
Exports. Tapping Export all on the Waivers tab opens the web dashboard, because an export is a large multi-file download that belongs on a computer where you can actually file it. See Export records for an inspection or audit.
Managing your studio roster. You can pick which artist signed a waiver in the app, and add a name on the spot while signing. Adding, renaming and removing roster entries as an admin job is on the dashboard — see Add artists to your studio roster.
Billing works differently in the app
A subscription bought inside the app is processed by Apple or Google, not by us, so it can only be changed or cancelled through the store.
Same account, same data
There is no separate mobile account and nothing to sync manually. A waiver signed on your phone is on the dashboard immediately, and vice versa. Use whichever is closer to hand.
