Remove a waiver or a customer

How to remove a record, what it does to the client's history, and why you should think before you do.

You can remove a waiver from your list. Wavrr always asks you to confirm, naming the client, because this cannot be undone.

Remove a waiver

  1. Find the waiver under Waivers, or on the client's record under Customers.
  2. Choose Remove waiver.
  3. Confirm in the dialog — it names the client so you can check you have the right one.

The waiver and its PDF are gone permanently.

Think before you do it

The waivers that are genuinely safe to remove are test waivers you created yourself, and duplicates created by a client submitting the same form twice.

When a client asks you to remove their data

That is a different situation, and a legitimate one. A client can ask you to erase their personal data, and depending on where you work you may be obliged to comply — or obliged to refuse, because retaining consent records for a fixed period is itself a legal requirement in some jurisdictions.

Removing a customer

Removing a customer record removes the client's details. Their waivers are the substantive record, so handle those deliberately rather than assuming one action cleans up the other.

Clearing your test data

If you are finishing setup and want your test waivers gone:

  1. Filter Waivers and find the ones with your own name and email on them.
  2. Remove them one at a time, confirming each.
  3. Remove the test customer record too, if you created one for yourself.

Removing your whole account

That is separate and covered in Remove your account.
