Account, privacy & your data

Remove your account

Close your Wavrr account permanently, and what to do first so you do not lose records you are obliged to keep.

Closing your account is permanent. Do the two things below first, because neither is possible afterwards.

Do these first

  1. Export your records. Open Waivers → Export All and run both Export Waivers and Export Ink Passports. See Request an export of your data.
  2. Cancel your subscription. If you bought it in the mobile app, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play — see Purchases made in the mobile app. Closing a Wavrr account does not automatically stop a store subscription, and you will keep being billed.

Consider cancelling instead

Close the account

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll to the Danger zone.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

What happens then

Your account data is removed or anonymised within a reasonable period after closure, subject to any legal retention obligations that apply to us.

Signed waivers, signed PDFs and ink passport records are retained after closure for as long as is necessary to defend or assert legal claims relating to the underlying service — that 20-year window again. This is set out in our privacy policy, which is the authoritative version.

Any share link or QR code you have handed out or printed stops working. If you have codes on your studio wall or a link in your Instagram bio, take them down — otherwise clients will keep trying to sign a form that no longer exists.

Coming back

There is no undo. Signing up again creates a fresh account with no templates, no clients and no history. If there is any chance you will return, cancel rather than close.

Questions first

If you are unsure which route applies to you, ask before you act — our contact page. We would rather talk you through it than have you close an account you needed.
