Remove an artist

Take someone off your studio roster when they leave, without affecting the waivers they already signed.

When an artist leaves, remove them from your roster so their name stops appearing in the dropdown at signing time.

Remove them

  1. Open Studio artists.
  2. Find the artist.
  3. Choose to remove them and confirm — the dialog names them so you can check.

What this does not do

Removing an artist from your roster does not touch the waivers they signed. Those records keep their name, their signature and their date, exactly as they were.

That is the behaviour you want. A consent form is a historical document, and rewriting it because someone left the studio would make every record they ever signed unreliable.

Before you remove someone

Two things worth doing first:

  1. Filter Waivers by Pending Signature and check none of theirs are still waiting. A waiver with no artist signature never generates a PDF, and once they have gone you cannot get their signature.
  2. Check whether any share link or QR code was set up specifically for them, and take the print down.

A guest artist who might come back

Removing and re-adding is harmless — a roster entry is just a name. But if a guest comes through twice a year, leaving them on the roster costs nothing except a longer dropdown.

Removing someone's access

Because roster entries are names rather than logins, removing an artist does not revoke any access — they never had any. Everyone in the studio works from your account.
