Artist vs Studio: which plan you need
The difference between the two paid plans, and the one question that decides it.
Both paid plans give you unlimited consent forms and the full feature set. The difference is whether more than one artist works under your account.
The one question
Do you need to record which of several artists performed each session?
If no, you want Artist. If yes, you want Studio.
Artist
$14.50 per month, for independent tattoo, piercing and PMU artists.
- Unlimited consent forms
- Tattoo, piercing and PMU templates
- QR code and link signing
- Automatic PDF generation
- Client history
- Exports for audits or insurance
Waivers are attributed to you, with an optional free-text artist name if you trade under a different name.
Studio
$39.50 per month, for multi-artist studios. Everything in Artist, plus:
- Multiple artists — a roster of artist names to attribute waivers to
- Centralised client and consent history for each artist
- Priority support
The roster is the substantive difference. On the Studio plan the Studio artists section appears in your sidebar, and completing a waiver requires selecting which artist it belongs to. See Add artists to your studio roster.
What Studio does not give you
Yearly billing
Both plans are cheaper annually — around $29 a year saved on Artist and $79 on Studio. You can switch between monthly and yearly on the Subscription page.
If you are not sure
Start on Artist. Upgrading later takes a minute and nothing is lost — your templates, waivers and client history all carry over. The reverse is equally easy. See Change or cancel your plan.
Current pricing for your region and currency is always on the pricing page and on your Subscription page.
